Little Hobo HobNob Has a Home!
This wee chap was found hiding under a car, poor wee soul was absolutely terrified, a kind lady managed to coax him out with a Hob Nob biscuit. A call was put out to who she thought would help the puppy but was told to call the dog warden for the area who then took the wee soul to the vets.
He is only about 4 months old and was found to have an old injury to his left front leg which had gone untreated (he must have been in agony), this leg appears to have a new fracture and also his back leg on the same side is also fractured.
He was in the vets from the Friday, thankfully EquiPet are the vets for the kennels and they had him on pain relief while he was with them. He was going to be euthanised if an owner didn't come forward for him; he only had till the Thursday of the next week before his seven days with the council were up!!
The dog warden called to tell us about him so this is him getting ready to come home to the kennels with Amanda (Vet), Louise & Sam (Vet Nurses) and Natasha (Receptionist). They all looked after him while he was at the vets and they all love him to bits, so this is them getting a last cuddle! We really want to thank you all for everything you did to help this wee guy.
He has an appointment on Wednesday 21st Jan with John Ferguson in St Monans who will do all he can to help our "Littlest Hobo". He was named Hob Nob by the vets.
We now need lots of healing thoughts for this young man. To be honest he would put us to shame he never complains although he must be in pain his tail is always wagging and he is always ready for a cuddle.
We've told Hob Nob how much you helped little Oliver (who now has a fantastic new home), and he was hoping you might be so kind to help him too. Please click the button below to donate to Hob Nob's appeal, any donation no matter how small will be much appreciated.
Update 6th Feb 09: This is Hobnob with his uncle Kevin at Kingdom FM, the wee lad was "Dog of the Week" on Kevin's show, and everyone at Kingdom just loved him.
We also have the wee lad with Tony also from Kingdom FM, Tony would only have a dog that didn't lick or drool hahahaha.
Update 20th Apr 09: This is Hob Nob with his mum and dad who absolutely adore him, he has been signed off from the vets at the moment as he has been doing so well, Steve his vet at St Momans says he may or may not need something done in the future, but for the moment he is a wee star who is loved by everyone. The two wee boys on the diary are his folks grandsons.
So all in all our two boys Hob Nob and Oliver have done really well and secured themselves brilliant homes.
Our sincere thanks to all who helped these two wee dogs, we really appreciate it.
