Second Chance Kennels Second Chance Kennels

Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

This is Dougie who went out last Saturday to his new home. Morag was devastated when she came back to the kennels as the pics are out of focus what a shame. However good news is Dougie has a lovely new home and his folks have promised to send a new pic for the web site.

This is Jed who is one of Bonnie's puppies, thanks to his family for working through things with him, we at Second Chance really appreciate it.He has turned into such a lovely big lad.

Hi Ena, Mhairi and all.

Well that's me been away from the kennels with my mum, dad, brother and sister for a year.

I've had a great time although I think I tested everyone's patience quite a lot.

I remember I used to bark at people without dog's as well as other things I didn't like, when I was on walks.

However I have grown up a lot (nearly 2) and with the help of my mum and dad I think I've turned the corner as I don't behave
that way now.

I am often at my brother and sisters school waiting on them finish and most of the children look at me, say i'm cute and give me a pat (I like that).

I know I am behaving well cause I heard my dad say to mum the other day that I am turning into a lovely dog.

The attached photo's are from our recent holiday to the west coast and I really enjoyed that.

Thanks Jed.

PS
Hi everyone, Jed doing really well and is such a lovely boy who is well loved and has fitted in really well.

Thanks

Gill and Billy.
