Hi there, we were so lucky to get Penny from you in January 2005, I am aware of the lack of contact to let you know how she is getting on so just wanted to do this now. I know, its a bit late!
Penny is LOVED by everyone and she totally believes that she is human! She works very hard when we have guests, meeting, greeting, cuddling, playing and showing them around. She adores our children, loves us and generally we are very lucky to have her. She is not in love with either of our cats but I am blaming Paddy who we got a couple of months after Penny, he swiped her with his paw and Penny has never forgiven him. Penny is not wild about any dogs either come to think of it, but she does like very large male ones! dislikes small ones of any type!! she isnt horrible just disinterested. You can walk along the pavement and she will totally ignore most dogs.
Our new kitten Pixie, is very interested in Penny but it is not mutual as long as Penny is still getting her love and attention she is fine and of course, she is.
Penny is now 4 1/2 soon to be 5 but is still like a baby at home, loves her walks and chasing any animal that should not be in her garden (sheep, deer, rabbits) but is quite happy to ignore them if they are out of the garden, she is very intelligent and very quick to understand if the odd guest arriving is unsure about her. She almost always wins them over in the end, even those who are not dog lovers.

Had another lovely surprise this weekend Frankie brought his mum Julie back for a visit, so lovely to see them, Frankie is a smashing wee dog.
