Second Chance Kennels Second Chance Kennels

Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

We had visitors today and it was so lovely to see them, Margo brought Alfie and Poppy back to see us both lovely Labradoodles who are a credit to her and Roger. They absolutely adore them. Now Roger will hardly answer the phone to me in case I am trying to give them another one well there are colours they don't have.Ha Ha x x

Dear Ena

Here are some photos of me having got my feet under the table and into the
bed etc in my new home. You may be shocked to see me chasing goats. The Old
Bird defiantly was as she said some bad words that I had not heard before!
Lady Elizabeth is very slow and cant keep up with me when running. She did
show me the wooden boards to walk on to save crossing the dreaded gravel.
Today I went to the vet to have my pockets picked. Was very glad to get
home. Some freshly cooked chicken was waiting for me so that helped.
We are all looking forward VERY MUCH to your visit.
Love
Nano Balzov.

Buster was never on the web site as he was recovering from an operation, this lovely couple came looking for a dog and although they looked at all the dogs, decided Buster was the dog for them so he went to his new home yesterday, and he has settled in a treat getting spoiled something I don't think he has had in his wee life he is only ten months old but life has sure changed for the better for him xx.

Bobby came for a visit today his folks are looking for another wee dog, butit has to be one that this wee lad will get on with. I was asking his mum how old he was now , she said nearly twelve which means he was adopted about ten years ago !! He was a wee monkey to start with but they worked through things and now have a brilliant wee dog. He looks nothing like twelve I have to say, but it was lovely to see them all. x
