Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

Oh Julie she looks so so settled, and how nice for Frankie a new big sister. can't thank you enough for giving her and of course Frankie such a wonderful home xx.
Hi Ena,
Well, that is a week since this big darling joined us(no longer fostering!!)She is truly wonderful Ena-so good natured, obedient and loving.I have been teaching her to come back to me when out walking, and she is so good now that ,provided we are in a big open space like the west sands,I can safely let her off the lead and she bounds around for a little while and then is happy to go back on the lead.
At the moment she is chasing round the garden tossing one of her toys in the air and having great fun.Frankie has learnt that when she is runnung like this he keeps at my side,as she wants him to join in ,but can easily knock him over!
Her eating is fine, she sleeps all night on her new big bed across the landing from my room and she is so quiet! the only time she gets a bit anxious is when I go to take her to the car,as if I am going to leave her.Once she realises I am coming too,she settles lovely and comes everywhere with me as does Frankie.
Thank you again for the gift of Holly.
Hope all is well at SCK,and see you soon,
Lots of love from us all,
Juliexxx

Aw Debbie she is gorgeous.
Ena,
Just a couple of pics to show you how Skye is doing.
She is really part of the family now, and we wouldn't be without her. She cheers us up every day with her antics and boundless energy. Susie and Fudge (prev Pip) are great friends with her, and they are doing really well too (although Fudge's leg still troubles him if he overdoes things!).
We are all off to the New Forest for 2 weeks tomorrow. I am sure we all love it - especially Skye. When we get back I will bring all three of them up to see you again.
Hope all is well your end.
Thanks so much for letting Skye join our family. We love her dearly.
Best wishes
Debbie, Chic (and of course Susie, Fudge and Skye xxx)

These two are absolutely wonderful and looking great. Wee crackers
Hi Ena,
I will bring them both down soon.
See attached. They were famous and in the Herald for Pets Parade competition.
As you will see, Jock has had a hair cut. What a difference it has made. When we first adopted Jock he had no emotions and didn't know he had to chase a ball and retrieve it. We have taught him so many things now. He is a wee cracker. He is joined at the hip with Scamp. You should hear him when the ice cream van comes. He howls along to the song. Wee Scamp tries and hers is a bit higher and a bit more squeakier! Very funny.
Scamp loves the company and they run around in the garden together. They loved the snow as you can see from the attached photos.
Hope you are all well.
Gail xx
