Happy Hounds

Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

Kyra >> Posted: 29th May 2010 Well this is wee Kyra ( was Sophie ) and her big brother Khale and their mum and dad, she is doing really well and is adored by them all. They came back as the pic we had before was no good as Mark was wearing a black shirt. So all you men ( or women ) out there who come looking for a dog and adopt one of our black dogs or puppies beware ! because we do make you strip and hopefully you will have a lighter shirt underneath ha ha ha.. We will get our Calender for 2011 yet !!!!

Benji >> Posted: 26th May 2010 Hi, Ena and Frank Well, I am now settled into my new home with my new mum and dad and two sisters. My mum has been teaching me to come when I am called and to be less bouncy when I meet strangers as she says not everyone appreciates a doodle leaping on them. My sisters love me to bit and I have got them wrapped round my furry paw. I get lots of attention and when they sit for a rest I steal dads shoe and that gets them up again chasing me round the garden - hehe I thought I needed a bit more bounce and I love to go on the trampoline in the garden. One day soon I will get my folks to bring me to visit you. Love Benji x Aw good to see him so settled and obviously not spoiled haha
Megan >> Posted: 26th May 2010 Hi it's me Megan and I am so so happy I now have a new mum all to myself she came to see me and just fell in love with me. I love my mum already she is just so lovely and gentle with me. Love Megan xx

Nelly >> Posted: 21st May 2010 This is Nelly who is such a sweeiheart her mum and dad are lovely and dad has taught her so well , she comes in and shuts the door behind her, and when he asks her if it's really shut she goes and jumps at the door again then she picks stuff up off the floor and puts it in the bin very clever wee girl and loved to bits.
