Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

Ian and the gang back for a visit, can hardly believe the dogs are nearly 10 years old now, they look so well, got one of them in the boot of the car ( Ian changed his car so he could have a boot with lots of space,.!! ) Took another pic of them in the car. We were doing really well then Gypsy decided to sing L.o.l. See you all soon xx

This is Polly the Collie ( makes a change from Molly ) She arrived at the kennels on Friday morning but so didn't like being here, not surprised she is scared she was only bought off Facebook 5 months ago !!!what a shame she was so scared, the only thing she had that comforted her was a ball. However, a lovely couple came in on Saturday and spent a lot of time with her ( they already have Calley a Border Collie) we could not believe the change in this wee girl she went from her tail tucked up along her tummy, to giving a gentle wee wag of it.Upshot was Morag was here she did a home visit for Polly everything was A +,she is now in her new home. Morag sent us these photo's. Polly has settled in a treat. Her new folk and Calley think she is brill. The photo with the ball, she throw's the ball to anyone or anything she thinks will through it back, I think she will have a bit of a wait for this happening with Calley though ha ha. We are all just so so happy for this special wee lass and hope she goes on to have a very happy fulfilled life now xx

Dear Ena,
Just to let you, and his previous owner, know that Nipper is settling in
nicely here, and we are very happy together. He is getting
lots of long walks, and is eating happily. I have not yet tried letting him
off his lead, but he has a very long extending lead and he is quite happy
roaming around on that. He also gets lots of runs in the garden. He would
very much like to play with some of our squirrels, but they keep running
away from him. My children are thrilled with him, and he has been brilliant
with them, and with my neighbours' children who have also enjoyed playing
with him. I have attached some photos for you.

Many thanks for a sweet natured, well-behaved wee dog.

Brilliant update Kay thank you so much, so pleased he has settled in so very well

Hi both. Small dog feeling better each day. Keira next door tried as usual to eat the postman so that alerted everyone that he was due. They were so disappointed when he didn't come to us that Jack went out and posted a newspaper. Usual chaos and now everybody has settled down happily again. Take care! Us x
