Benji is now in a lovely new home, and doing ever so well. He was sitting up on the couch beside his mum all the time we were sitting having a cuppa, the minute I got the camera out down he came !!!Still managed to get a couple of pics though. Even though his ears got in the way !!! xx

Hope all good with you. A few photos attached to let you see Jess now that she is all grown up! She is almost 13 months and is a bit smaller than we thought she might be (she still hasn’t grown into her ears!). She is such a sweet little girl. She still has a problem with some dogs when we are out and she gets nervous aggressive, however, once she gets to know the regulars we meet she snuggles up to them then rolls on her back with her legs in the air! She is so loving and sensitive. We actually think there is Jack Russell in there somewhere. The fact that she is smaller than a regular collie and some of the things she does, like springing in the air on all four legs. When I saw the picture of Rusty, one of your recent residents, it fell into place, she looked so like him. I am busy trying to re-seed the grass after a winter of her and Jake making it their career to destroy it! Now that I have started working in the greenhouse, so has she! She obviously thinks I've got too many plant pots in there and that they would look better if they had some more holes in them and were littered around the garden. She and Jake are such good pals, they are inseparable. We will pop along to see you sometime so you'd better have plenty sausages in!

Bonnie & Ruby also came today. Pam adopted Bonnie from us when she was 41/2 months and she is now 15 years old and looks amazing.Wee Ruby was the mum of our Cavalier puppies three years ago.Unfortunately wee Ruby has just undergone a big op,is still going for scans ect. she is looking good you would never know she had such a big op. Both dogs doing well xx.We wish Ruby well as she recuerates xx.

We had a few visitors today it was great, love seeing our past residents (oops starting to sound like a broken record ) but I do love seeing them

Wee Teasle is now Pheobe and doing really well, her folks have a video of Lily and Pheobe on the beach. So lovely to see her enjoying life with her big sis Lily xx Hopefully her folks will send it to us so we can put it on the web site.x Couldn't resist this photo of them both xx

Well our two wee ones wnt to their new home today, think their in great danger of being cuddled a lot !!! Lovely family however Craig couldn't be here as he because he was at Kingdom Fm, So this is his mum and sister Agnes & Sarah.

Sarah did a poster when she knew she was going to be adopting these wee fellas.

Well this wee girl didn't have to wait long for her new mum to come along, Gill is absolutely delighted with her new wee girl and vice versa.This was fate as Gill called to ask if she could come along for a chat about adopting a wee dog, and by the time she came along Snowy was here, and the rest is history xx.

Tilly was anothe one of our visitors, she is funny ask her for a high five and she sits with her two paws in the air, again a very well love wee girl. Good to see them. xx

What a lovely day we had yesterday lots of visitors, this is Milly one of Bonnie's puppies who was born at the kennels,, she is now six years old.

He sends his love to all the other doggies and staff at Second Chance Kennels for rescuing him and finding him his forever home here in the Smith house. What a lovely surprise today Maggie and her folks came to visit, They are down in our neck of the woods for a couple of days, they stay up in Aberdeenshire so it was great to see them. Maggie is nearly 10 years old now , and still looks and acts like a youngster.

We had visitors the other day, Holly and wee Cooper came to see us. Both looking great and Holly is now so outgoing, I think Cooper has made a big difference to her. This is her with her mum and a friend who is hiding behind the dogs.!!!
