Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

Posted: 16th July 2006

This is Jack with his mum Karen, he was a wee bit difficult when he first went home, but had never showed any of these problems at the kennels.

However Ian & Karen and their family have worked through all his problems, and they now have a lovely wee dog whom they absolutely adore.

Thank you folks.

I was the girl who was dropped off at the kennel gate in a horrible state. I was starving, my nails were overgrown and my hair was all matted and dirty. However, the nice girls at the kennels took me to the beauty parlour, and I looked and felt much better! It must have worked cause I got chosen by a lovely lady!

This is me with my new "Mum" getting ready to go home. I will never be neglected again :)

Mhairi & Ena are very sad to see me go, especially Mhairi because she was going to take me home, but one of her own dogs really objected to me. But good news is they can always pop in for a coffee!

Now a lot of you will remember this man! He had been in the kennels for a wee while after being brought back from a home that didn't work out. We were holding out for the perfect home for Thor, out in the country with people who had experience of owning rotties. It took a while, but that perfect forever home finally came along!

This is Thor with his lovely new Mum & Dad ready to go home, in his new house, and his garden with his Mum.

Peanut >>
Posted: 29th June 2006

Some of you may remember this little one. She was the little pup who was found in a cardboard box behind a post office in Kirkcaldy. Luckily a very nice lady found her and brought her to the kennels. She was called Little Miss No Name on the website to jog your memories! Her new family have named her Peanut.

Here are some photos of Peanut in her new garden and with her family.

Posted: 29th June 2006

We were at Ryan & Calder vets and look who came in! Bonnie and her mum! It is about seven years since Bonnie was adopted. which is really nice considering her mum only came for a visit that day, wasn't really looking to rehome a wee dog. Now she is the mascot of Pittencrief primary school in Dunfermline.

Really nice thing was she still remembers us!!
