Hi Lady here,

I'm just loving my new home and family. Been playing in my big garden with all my new pals. I've gone for lots and lots of walks and at night I just cuddle in and I'm off to sleep. I am now part of a family. My Mum says the most important part!Thank you to Ena and Mhairi for bringing us all together.

I'm getting Mum and Dad trained up and they are fast learners but the budgie might take a bit longer!
Love to all at the kennels.

My name is Jak and I never reached the web site, I was lucky this lady was visiting the kennels when I arrived and she totally fell in love with me, so we all sat and had a nice chat then she went away and spoke to all the family and they came back and visited today with the grandchildren, I was good as gold so Ena & Frank took me on a home visit and spent time with me and my new mum and dad family has all gone home. Ena has a saying she needs prospective owners to push the right buttons and they certainly did. So I am now in a lovely new home with really nice peolpe. Love Jak xx.

Pic 1) me with my new mum & dad. pic 2) Me in part of my garden. Pic 3 Look what I've found not one but two balls. In my element x x.

If my previous mum see's me on here I hope she is happy ( as she was really very sad at having to part with me). that I have lots of room and a brilliant family x

Frank and myself took two days off from the kennels to go up to Skye and see how our dogs were all getting on up there.Bit of respite ? more like a bus man's holiday but we thoroughy enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to Hazel who put us up and fed us we are very grateful. And to Mhairi for looking after the kennels and our own three dogs x.

This is Frank with the Lodge Hotel dogs ( Hazel's ) All looking and doing absolutely great. Harry the St Bernard( now about 9yrs) and Brodie (now about seven, sticking his tongue) are Second Chance dogs Toby the older dog is also a rescue dog from the Island all lovely boys, who are so well loved. Then we went round to see Lucy (our chocolate lab now about 18 months ) who is now a sister for Raven these two are inseperable and also have a wonderful home then we went to see Ben another well loved boy who is now about eight years old still loves his ice cream. Then we went to see Treacle and her mum again loved to bits, there must definately be something in the water up there as they all go swimming and their coats are so so shiny and soft.

Then we went down to Fort William and caught up with Bobby ( who was Sonny here ) Again another lovely home and then on to Roy Bridge to see Thor "our " Rottie boy and his mum, when I went to his door his mum said "in Thor till I see who's there" and I said come on Thor and see your friends from Second Chance, He was so pleased to see us this is the thing with Rotts we've found they have very good memories and never forget.

It was so nice to see them all and to know they are so settled, well cared for and happy in their homes.

Aww he is looking so good so glad he was saved at the last minute and now has such a wonderful home with you, we would love to see him if you are ever in our neck of the woods x

Hi Ena, this is one of the latest photos of Archie. We got him from you in July 2005 and he'll soon be eight years old, and still thriving. We were very fortunate to get him from you as he has always had a lovely nature and is adored by everyone. (To think that he was just about to get put to sleep!)
Thanks again Ena,
Hughie and Agnes xxx

Sharon how lovely to see him look forward to up to date photo's soon with him and his family x.

Hi Ena
Keep missing Morag & Martin - they have loads of up to date pics of his lordship - meanwhile I'm attaching one I took ages ago - well - a bit of one!! I had cut it up and it's in a collage I made up with all the dogs/horses in my life - can't find the original so here's a wee bit of Pete to keep you going!
Hope to get down soon - dying to see your place ... but please make sure I leave empty handed!!
Love
Shiona

Hi Ginny well your teacher would be proud of you pics all came through and they are lovely,Mischka looks to be having a great time. Love the hedgehog gate x x

Hi Ena and everyone at Second Chance kennels!

Mischka is settling in so well, and is just a joy to have in our home. My face is hurting with all the laughter. Toilet training is coming on, and there was much excitement this morning when she did her first "outside" woopsie on the Braes. Her only problem is that she does not enjoy the birdsong in the background of the golf from Augusta, and barked at Tiger Woods. She is gathering new members to her fan club daily...one man even crossed the road to ask to take her photograph. Plus she has met two rescue dogs this week ...one on holiday, and the other newly arrived from Ayrshire (she is on the SSPCA website under the name of Mona)

Andy, Peter and Andy got their sleeves rolled up on Wednesday and raised the height of the wall with fencing, then Andy and Poppy got their heads together and designed a hedgehog gate...still to be painted.

Hope you are all well. The flowers are still looking beautiful...thank you for such a touching gesture.

Big sloppy kisses from Mischka...XXXXXXXX

Ginny

Lovely to see two of our past residents having such a wonderful time thanks guys.

Hello Ena,

A few pics to show you the menagerie. Thought I'd include one of the cat as she is, of course, the boss. Took Bailey & Suki to the beach a couple of weeks ago, they love it and, as you can see, Suki has a penchant for rabbit holes. She has yet to disappear down one as she is a liitle too rotund but all it would take would be to find a slighly larger hole which she nearly found today up at the woods. Only the bum and the tail were left outside. Fortunately she came back out!
All getting along just fine now and Bailey's nose is back in it's proper place having been severely out of joint for the first couple of weeks.
Love to all at Second Chance,

Sheila & Nigel

Susan you are right she does look like Disney and Disney is six as well. Lovely pics she looks amazing. x

Hi Ena and Frank,

Thanks for getting back in touch. Sorry you couldn't make it along to Dunbar when you were at East Linton. Tilly would have enjoyed some TLC as she had just had an op to get slither of glass/shell from a toe! A pad had become infected a couple of months ago and antibiotics hadn't cleared it up. She seems fine again now, though not letting her do so much running! Otherwise she's in fine fettle and a great joy and companion for us all.
6 years have flown by.

Have enclosed couple of summer and a winter shot. Tilly looks very like Disney!
Take care and well done for all the wonderful work you do.

love Susan, Jim and family and of course, Tilly xxx
