Happy Hounds

Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

She was meant to come back though! look at the wonderful home she has now, and she has a pal wee Ivan the Bedlington x. Bruno( previously known as Lonely) >> Posted: 6th March 2012 Hi Ena Here are some photos of Bruno. Andrew. Bruno (Lonely) was abandoned outside the kennels last year before Christmas. He now has a great new home and it is great to see the pics of him. Zeb the other dog in the pics was also found abandoned in Fife but just look at then both now x Andrew he is looking so good we hardly recognised him and what a happy boy, Zeb is looking great as well so pleased they get on so well, I know they didn't at first, just goes to show what love and patience can do. xx Must find a pic of when we found him lying waiting for the person who left him that cold frosty morning !Found this one with Abbi when she brought him a xmas present x A lady sent me this e-mail just thought I would share it with you !! Kim our wee Collie. >> Posted: 6th March 2012 Well we took Kim for a home visit today. To a lovely couple who adopted a puppy "Harry" from us back in 1997. Sadly Harry has gone to the Bridge. There is another wee dog Tess in the home,who was missing Harry,she is such a wee sweetheart and welcomed Kim into her home with a waggy tail, although Kim showed her what lovely white teeth she had a couple of times oops !! Milly . >> Posted: 5th March 2012 Well I did wait very patiently, but it has been so worth it! I had a good home and now I am so lucky to have found another one. I have such a lovely family who adore Lurchers. I also have a very handsome rough coated Lurcher brother. We will have loads of room to run around and play.I have gone with my bed, Burns food which I love, my cuddly doggy toy and my coats, harness ect.I will feel a bit more at home. Ena & Frank were sad to see me go, but really happy I have a good home. Roxy & Zara >> Posted: 4th March 2012 We had visitors today and me and Zara were so excited. Ena & Frank heard I had had an accident and dropped in to make sure I was okay, of course I was my dad had looked after me well, and Zara didn't mean to hurt me, but I'm fine now as Ena & Frank would verify they were licked silly, we jumped all over them.When they came in Ena thought we had knocked the cushions off the couch, but no they were our very special cushions so she was told to put them back !!! So this is me and my sis Zara sitting nicely for a pic and one of me at the window, when they were leaving. Rosie >> Posted: 4th March 2012 Well at last I have found my new home, my dad fell in love with me when he first saw me, then brought my mum to see me and take me for a walk. His name is Rannoch and he is five months old now.He is absolutely gorgeous. Karen Rosie & Ollie. >> Posted: 1st March 2012 What a lovely surprise today we had a visit from Karen, Rosie & wee Ollie. I think Rosie remembered us which was lovely, she has so much more confidence now. The puppy Ollie is to die for he's gorgeous. Anyway Karen brought her friend to see if we had any dogs that would have been a friend for Pepper the lab who is also in the pic.
