Since it opened in 1999, hundreds of dogs have passed through the kennels doors and have gone on to wonderful new homes and families. On this page you will see some of those lucky dogs in their forever homes, and hear how they've settled in and how they've enriched their new families' lives.

This is Cesar (named after the dog food!). He never reached homeless hounds, lucky wee boy, as we had this lovely couple just waiting on a phone call to say he had arrived at the kennels! They had already had their home visit done just in case a wee Westie appeared.

So, Isobel & David are now the proud mum & dad of Cesar. He will be loved to bits, did I hear you say spoiled? Never!

Look who brought his mum & dad for a visit, this wee lad was Scottie and is now Corrie. Doesn't he look great and so well loved. But all of us here think he might like a wee friend...

Well what do you think, should we go and take these poor wee souls back? They seem to be learning real bad habits!!!

This is me with my new Mum & Dad, Jo & Dave, and my big brother Riley.

After all these months in kennels I now have a brilliant new home, they said something about taking me to agility when I learn some obedience, sounds great fun!

We had a lovely surprise when Kyle brought his mum & dad for a visit. We were over the moon, it is so nice to see our past residents come back for a visit.

Kyle was rehomed from our house when we worked from home about 8 yrs ago, he was a wee scared puppy of six months, it's so good to see what a confident dog he has turned out to be and is the apple of his mum and dad's eye.

This is Bobby the wee Jack Russell adopted from here a couple of years ago, with his best friend Ralph the lurcher. What a wonderful life they both have.

Hi Ena,

Just wanted to let you know our wee Bobby is doing just grand. He's his usual cheeky self and still loving being a PAT dog. He does a great job! Ralphy too is really well. They've had a few weekends away - Nairn, Dornoch, and are off to Stontian and Mull this summer. Hope the weather is going to be great. We've discovered living so close to the beach that Bob is a real water baby and is never out of the water or rolling in dead birds! LOL We've bought him a paddling pool for the garden - I am sure the neighbours think we are crazy!

Hope you are all well. Bobby sends his love.

This is me with my new Mum in my nice new home.

When the girls brought me here, I jumped up on the couch and Ena was going to tell me to get down, but mum said "oh no, that's okay, he can go up if he likes"!

I think I'm going to like it here just me and my new mum!

Milly & Mylo >>
Posted: 12th May 2007

This is Misty (now Milly) with Mylo, who both went to their new home Monday 7th May.

Misty was a scared wee thing at the kennels, her new dad Gordon saw her at the kennels hiding behind her chair :( Since she has gone into her new home, it's like she's a different dog! In fact, her dad thought we had switched collie's!

She & Mylo are settling in very well, but then, they were best friends at the kennels.

This is the terible twins in their new home with their new mum & dad, Maddie & Ross.

Harry >>
Posted: 12th May 2007

Some of you may remember Harry the St Bernard who went to stay on Skye. He was so skinny when he was here that you could see his ribs :( methinks he is now filled out a bit! He is looking great!

His mum Hazel has a tin on the bar at their hotel and sent us down £ 46-22 pence with our roving reporter Mhairi, thanks to all who contributed!
